stayed here for 2 nights 21st and 22nd august , very clean rooms ,spotless . Basic but what you want is there . bed very comfy and when asked for another pillow as pillows very thin ,we were given extra pillow without any questioning. staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast was lovely and choice varied. only thing i could really say was negative was there was no lift, there was 2 chair lifts to first and second floor but nothing then for further 2 floors. would definitely stay again. Thank you to all staff .

Room tip: no lifts to 3rd and 4 th floor

We stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting relatives in the area. We felt quite safe with staying as all the precautions had been taken with hand gel etc when we first entered the building.

However one thing that was a little annoying was that when we returned to the hotel in the evening after visiting family where we would often want to stay a bit later than normal, to get back in to the hotel you have to ring a mobile number to be let in and wait around, most hotels let you use your key card so you can get back in when you want to.

On the first night once we had been let in there looked like something suspiciously like blood on the floor which by the next day had got cleared up, the second night we got back around midnight and had fresh towels and coffee and tea left in a bag by the door as no one enters your room at the moment but no toilet paper which we had run out of and you would have thought would be something that should be well stocked up on and at 1.35am we got disturbed for over an hour by a drunk couple deciding to have row in the next room, so didn’t sleep very well at all. the walls are quite thin so you can hear the traffic from the main road for most of the evening and our view was was of the petrol station next door.

Booked for two nights for a little break to visit the safari which was 2 minutes down a straight road.
Staff were very friendly though out our stay. Breakfast was expensive but a lovely breakfast.
Rooms were Clean and tidy but very dated.
The only problems we had was the walls were very thin and you can hear everything. Including a couple arguing at 2am which woke us up and that the pillows provided were awful, very thin and cheap.

We stayed here for two nights just for a getaway. Having a young family it was key to get some alone time with each other.
On arrival everything was Covid ready and the receptionist was very friendly and explained about what was on offer and not which was explained prior our booking via email.
The room was tidy and clean and perfect temp (think was 21 on themostat which could be changed)
The bar is very very smart but tv was not working so had to watch fa cup final in reception area but was not a problem.

Only niggle and could imagine it being a lot worse if hotel was at capacity was that you could hear doors opening and closing throughout night with guests coming and going. This woke us up numerous times in the night and early morning.

Would Defiantly stay again.

Exchanged an experience gift voucher for a two night stay here to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit quite small.
Breakfast was a buffet with adequate supplies to set you up for the day. We ate dinner in the restaurant on one night which was ok, but nothing memorable.
