Worst place I have ever eaten, the food was vile, and who puts cocktail sausages in trays at a Chinese restaurant. The soup was just water with a foul taste, like washing up water! As for the deserts they had Jaffa cakes, pink wafers an cubes of raw jelly!!!what? the staff were just wondering round stirring the food trays constantly...but always the same tray...was weird. we told them about the rubbish food when we paid and the manager who was totally uninterested and said its because we are quiet!! This place should be closed down.

On first glance it all looks the same until you start looking at what is on offer. There is no Duck anywhere to be seen and when i asked about it the server said they do oriental pork instead, that is all well and good but they did the pork before.
The selection has suffered in other areas too, we went there over the easter break. We was lead to our table at 7pm at a time when you would expect it to be busy (we booked the table) but it wasn't, we (the wife and I) ordered our drinks and started to look at the food. I at least thought i would wait as the location where the Duck was had 3 empty plates there, so i sat there like a muppet in the hope that some would be restocked. Yet alas it was not meant to be. Yet i waited ; the wife was part way down her plate of food when i got tired of waiting (some food had been replenished like the chicken on a stick) noodles and other cheap eats. Yet the duck was nowhere to be seen, the more expensive (IMO) food was not being replaced until last Prawns for example and alas the MIA Duck , the seaweed was still rather full and was now in a container rather a than on a plate with a molten metal handle (too hot to touch) . One plate (i have no idea what it was supposed to be was never replenished.
An odd aside, Knives i asked the server when we was shown to our table why there are never knives on the table and he said Chinese people don't eat with knives, i am pretty sure if they use a a fork and spoon they use a knife too! If they want to keep it authentic give us chopsticks.
Lets talk about the the selection for desert's in the form of pre pack biscuit type treats , shall we ? actually no lets skip that as there is a desert place next door.
Instead lets talk about the cost of there cocktails, a half colins glass of mojito for £4.50! how on earth can they justify that unless it was a full size glass when it was packed with lime slices and a hole bunch of ice and mint!
If you look at our previous review of this place you will see we had always sung it praises but now i am afraid that is not the case...........Shall we go back? .......Maybe next year or so to give it a chance to redeem itself , that is if it is still going

We visited at a lunch time in the week for a £5.95 lunch time deal. Started with the crispy shredded duck and pancakes and the meat was very bad quality. The result of which was closer to crispy seaweed than duck. Not nice. Also had a couple of the chicken dishes and chicken was very overdone and chewy. Desserts included a variety of flavoured marshmallows and swiss roll items all of which could be bought in a multipack from poundland down the road. The soft drinks, which weren't even branded were charged at £2.50, a rip off for unbranded poor quality soft drinks.

Sides were fine I guess, had both noodles and rice and was cooked fine but sadly no saving grace for the entire meal.
Although it was lunch time, comparing against other chinese buffets the choice was very poor and the quality was awful so for the money I didn't feel the great value I come to expect from a chinese buffet.
I used to come here quite regular a couple of years back and now the obvious cut backs (including providing you with plastic plates instead crockery!) in quantity and quality are a clear indication that this restaurant is now on the way out or just being cheap. We won't be going back again, a real shame but avoid!!!

Decided to pop in for lunch whilst shopping. Advertised outside £5.95 per adult £3.99 child (no age specified). Waitress was pleasant but food was nothing to shout home about. A lot of the chicken dishes were deep fried and facilities not particularly clean. We were given wet glasses to help ourselves to drinks, they were unlimited! Went to pay & our son only had a drink but charged us full adult meal. Nothing special but if you are looking for unlimited buffet it may suite you, but not us
