Don't be fooled by the misleading pictures of the "Victorian Manor". The actual rooms are in a completely separate block overlooking the car park. The corridor is so dark and dingy and in desperate need of a hoover. The room was freezing cold as the central heating system is on a timer and switches off at 10pm and comes on at 7am. We were told that due to Covid, the breakfast would be left outside the room in the morning at 7am, but after waiting for over 2 hours, we went to reception to ask and they said the breakfast was served in the restaurant but unfortunately they had no more breakfast items left. We were booked in for 2 nights but we decided to check out after the 1st night as I wouldn't have been able to survive another night with no heating.

Spacious room with comfy bed. Great shower. Covid precautions in place but still felt welcomed. Breakfast consisted of croissant with butter and jam, cereal bar, instant porridge pot, yoghurt and orange juice, all left in a paper bag outside the door. Ideally located for visiting family and great to be able to have our dog with us.

We spent 3 nights at Stourport Manor at the beginning of October.  I have never been offered such a meagre breakfast; a DIY pot of instant porridge, a small croissant with a bit of butter and jam and an Alpen nutty bar left in a bag outside the room.  We would have had better if we were detained at Her Majesty's pleasure.
The local pubs and restaurants were serving hot food without any fuss at all, I can't understand why the hotel can not.  Our previous weekend was spent in Gloucester where we had a lovely full english breakfast each day.
In my opinion this Best Western is Best Avoided.

I was sorry to read that you were not happy with the breakfast offer. Since operating in a Covid-19 World, I have taken a view on how we best keep our clients and colleagues safe. With this in mind, I have reduced the breakfast offer and price to reflect a safe / no contact option. This breakfast is not compulsory and people are welcome to book room only packages, should they wish.

First of all the negatives. The room doors are self-closers which can bang quite loudly when trying to sleep. Our room was single-glazed and had quite a bit of condensation now that the colder nights are here. We also found the room a little chilly when getting up. The radiator was on in the evening and the early night. By could it clatter. Now the positives. The location is superb, the staff so friendly and helpful, and the bed was so comfy. The covid arrangements were first class. Would definitely stay here again. Let's hope that the glazing/door closure issue is solved under the new company structure.

this hotel is not ready yet its to soon ,not enough staff, no bar no hot food facility ,i believe they have a long way to go. so at the moment not worth the prices charged.hopefully they will get on with it but there did not seem to be anyone there to take charge.

Thank you for your post, though I was concerned that you suggest the hotel was not ready. For the benefit of other potential clients - please be aware that during the period of time we operate in a Covid-19 World, we have taken the opportunity to review how we best keep our clients and colleagues safe. With this in mind, I have taken the decision to reduce touchpoints and so introduced methods such as contactless check in.

In addition, we have also changed some of the services and facilities. For the latest update, please contact the hotel directly on 0330 0283421 and select option 1 for reservations, or option 4 for the hotel reception.

As a result of the above, the restaurant and bar are currently closed, with room service options available. Our leisure facilities are also closed, with the exception of the gym.

All of the above is being communicated by attempted pre-arrival calls to discuss up and coming bookings

While we would love nothing more than to open all facilities, we are very mindful that we want to do all we can to keep people safe.
