Slightly confusing to find the entrance if you’re on foot, but once you’re in you can have the option to get your room card/key from a machine - the lack of human interaction is always one bonuses of a chain hotel. But having said that, the staff generally seemed pleasant and helpful.
I was facing the tram line, but it wasn’t an issue. I had the breakfast buffet which is pretty pricy, but also of a good quality. One problem was that the second I put my hand to the arm of the chair whilst having breakfast I felt a sharp sensation. I assumed it was maybe just a static shock. But after breakfast in the escalator I pulled something out of my palm. I rolled it around gently between my finger and thumb, didn’t feel like broken glass, whatever it was was sharp enough to embed itself in my palm though. I’d hope and imagine that was a one-off.More
