I posted an honest review which since has been removed because the management complained. I’ve been given the opportunity to re review again.
Firstly, it doesn’t look very good when instead of accepting failings of this business and putting in measures to make sure it doesn’t happen again, you ask for it to be removed? Leadership clearly is questionable. It was verified in the first place in order to be published! The fact it shed a negative light on Roost shouldn’t be a reason to have it removed!
So for a second time, we visit;
1. Seated near the bar - slow service because staff were checking their phones and sitting on stools.
2. Food overpriced for what it is and portion sizes.
3. Unmotivated and bored staff.
4. Pizza arrived burnt! Thrown together, hardly any toppings.
5. Rest of food wasn’t good.
6. Standard of service very poor, grumpy chef not bothered about queries over poor food.
7. Staff gossiping, complaining about their jobs and I thought the manager arrived and joined in the gossiping, but wasn’t sure, given the fact my last review was removed, I’m pretty sure now that this older woman is the manager. Why else ask for it to be removed? Accept it was highly unprofessional and be conscious of your behaviour in front of customers!
I gave a review in the hope you would take it on board and improve. Removing negative feedback and keeping the positive ones isn’t a true representation.
So many lessons need to be learnt.....
