Booked an overnight stay here as we had tickets to see U2 at the Manchester Arena. Hotels in central Manchester were ridiculously overpriced, so I looked further afield.
This hotel was very reasonable and was very close to the train station, providing and easy way to get into the city centre.
Staff gave us a warm welcome, and we stayed in room 201, steep stairs from first floor to second, but nothing too drastic, if any mobility problems I’m sure you could request a first floor room upon booking.
(Didn’t see a lift)
Room was lovely!
Nice and spacious, bright and warm, bathroom had shower, and complimentary toiletries.
Tv had regular freeview channels and we connected to free WiFi with no issues at all.
Bed was very comfortable, and we didn’t have any problems with noise despite being the first room on the second floor.
There is a complimentary continental breakfast available, but we decided to take advantage of the 12pm check out and have lunch instead.
Friday night £58, and close enough to the city to go in a concert night, I’ll be sure to choose this hotel again the next time I’m at the arena, brilliant! More
