We treated ourselves to lunch here last week and were very impressed! The lasagne was delicious, flavoursome and comforting, the salads crisp, fresh and varied. The burger stack was tasty and the chips home-cooked and crunchy - we often give these less priority on the dish if the rest deserves our attention but we couldn’t stop eating them! We asked for a side of new potatoes which were accompanying a different main which were provided without question and were delicious too! The desserts were varied and good! Staff friendly and welcoming with a smile and dedication to their work. A really good choice for lunch! You won’t be disappointed! (we need to try the evening meals now! )

The Pack Horse is in the beautiful Georgian Old Town of Bridlington. Not to be confused with the very tacky Sea Front. Hey hoe each to their own. Super pub with a Micro Brewery. Excellent pint or two of Bulldog bitter £2.80 pint and delicious fish and chips. All very fresh. The pub has been very well renovated and is spotless especially the loos. Well done to everyone concerned.

Set in the old town of Bridlington, some age to it. Well done out, second port of call on a mini pub crawl from the Star Inn, where my mate was staying, then down to the pubs on the main street before coming back. Must try are the own brewed ales the landlord produces from his own micro brewery - exceptional indeed.

Situated in the Old Town we visited here on recommendation from Gallery 49 next door. Great to be able to sit outside in the courtyard under a warm sun. Staff were very friendly and seemed busy enough for a weekday lunchtime. Plenty of choice on the menu. I had steak pie and my wife had a Yorkshire Ham salad. The pie was wonderful with plenty of very tender meat and a good tasting gravy. Served with chips and mushy peas. The salad was also very good, freshly prepared and with a good quality ham. Both were delicious and a good portion size.
Would gladly return if we're in the area looking for lunch or dinner.
