I was flying from Terminal 5 early the next morning and I thought the YOTEL was a good idea. The price was very reasonable for a Airport hotel, and the location is perfect.
I am reviewing the premium cabin, as it was all they had left as if booked last minute.
I arrived at 6pm, exhausted from from Wandering around central London. Check in was very easy. I spent 15 minutes talking to the man on reception, Daniel I think was his name, he was Greek.
My room was indeed compact but the bed was extremely comfortable.
It was a retractable bed, you can move it from sitting-in-bed reading to fully-reclined asleep positions. It reminded me of The Simpsons when homer is in hospital and he is moving his bed us and down, "bed goes up, bed goes down".
Very comfortable bed.
The shower is great. Lovely hot water and powerful too.
My only negative with the room was a light above the t.v that I couldn't turn off and the blind on the window there was a small gap between the gram and blind and it let in a slit of light which was quite distracting.
All in all, good value and very comfy room and bed. More
