This pub went through some stormy weather in the last few years. The freeholder wanted to sell it to developers to build flats, consequently it was slowly allowed to getting very tired and run down. Now a days the pub has been protected and its being lovingly restored by an Irish man and his family.
The pub has a great selection of bear and spirits. They now offer pizza for food but this is not a gastropub you come here you enjoy a lovely pint, quality live Jazz music and you know you are in good company, pizza is a bonus.
The pub is welcoming even though it's still being restored to its former splendor. The new manager is doing an amazing job and look forward when it's all finished.
The pub has a big beer garden and its very child and dog friendly, just perfect for families during the day. I cannot recommend this pub enough, it's one of the Gems Old Isleworth possesses.
