Fabulous locationlocation, food was amazing.
Staff were very attentive, and we couldn't have asked for more.
We had the afternoon tea but the food coming out of the kitchen smelt devine.
We will definitely return and possible stay.
Great venue for a wedding or party.
Came here for Sunday lunch. The welcome was wonderful, the food was excellent (decent portion sizes) and the staff were brilliant. They also do a mini pudding and hot drink which I think should be the law for all restaurants when you can't face a whole dessert but you want something sweet to end the meal.
We'll be back.

Bought afternoon tea voucher as a treat for elderly friends. On leaving they were told there was £7.50 to pay. On asking ‘what for?’ they were told service charge. (12.5%). I realise the voucher didn’t include service but when my friends got flustered trying to find £7.50 in their purses they were told it was optional. One of them found £5 cash and handed that over. This was very badly handled and put them in a humiliating position. The staff should have said they could leave something for service if they wished, it should not have been stated like a charge they had to pay before leaving. They felt awkward and I regret giving them a gift that upset them.

Very pleased with the service and special attention. We booked a table but a member of our party had Coeliac Disease and he had concerns about cross-contamination. I telephoned and spoke to Phil, he reassured me that every effort is made to deal with special requirements and allergies, he also said that we had further concerns I could speak to the head chef, Chris.
A party of 10 staying for a couple of nights. We had a lovely stay. The staff could not do enough for us, always with a smile. The food was faultless. The outlook to countryside really nice. Comfy seating to relax on the terrace.Would love to return in the future.
