We visited on 26th October 2017 and were greeted by an extremely kind guy directing me to a parking space. When we paid we met the owner who was fantastic, not only with knowledge but also with a smile and great jokes. We were a party of 4 adults and all totally enjoyed the experience. A fantastic video started proceedings and from there we were guided by a great map in to various areas with excellent museum pieces. There was a fantastic little gift shop with brilliant memorabilia, which all goes to help with the upkeep of this awesome museum. It is really accessible to everyone, even down to being wheelchair friendly. The owner (Steve) and his team which includes the commanding officer (Sheila) have worked amazingly hard to bring all the museum pieces together and restore the outbuildings and surrounding area. Thank you guys for the warm welcome and fantastic museum. This is something that I will be recommending to all my family and friends. 100% brilliant. Matt Anderson (Nottingham)

We, as a family of 6 with children ageing from 4 to 14 were so pleasantly surprised by the museum, and as a Cornishman myself, so incredibly proud of what Steve has achieved here. The fact the the installations have been recreated at a location so poignant during WWII only emphasises the experience and the sheer quantity and quality of the exhibitions is humbling. My 10yr old son is doing a project on WWII for school and he found oodles of information for his project. We all loved it and happily spent 3 hours looking round and taking it all in. Could have spent longer too. Definitely will be returning. Modest entrance fee meant we didn’t have to recoil in horror when the children asked for gifts from the shop. More than happy to spend money on such a worth while fantastic attraction!!

We visited today as a family of 5. We paid £13 entry fee for 2 x adults and 3 x children (aged 12, 4 and 3).
What a surprise! The welcome was great. We were saluted as we entered the car park! The children loved it!! The volunteers were knowledgable and helpful. The museum was full of things that the children could touch as well as look at. We counted guns and animals on the way round too. We enjoyed a coffee and mid morning treat in the NAAFI popping our money in the honesty box. It was like stepping back in time! We will be back
