From the moment we arrived we felt the warmth and family atmosphere from "mum" and Kate - this little jewel with its stunning views and "the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel" (and that from a chef!!) make the stay at the Seavista truly worth all the praise. The rooms are compact but the views are just stunning from the bedroom, the breakfast room and the lounge, enjoying a glass of wine in the garden is relaxed and all the guests congregate for an early evening chat and just marvel at the view.

Thanks for making Cornwall again one of our favourite places... we will be back!!

Stayed here as a couple for one night only and was made very welcome by the friendly staff who welcomed us on arrival with tea and cake. Room very clean and comfortable. Superb views from dining room and lounge. A lovely breakfast with a varied choice. Would definately revisit and recommend.

We wanted to go on holiday in Cornwall because we like to hike and enjoy the serenity away from the many tourism. A tip: Do not rent bikes, the hills are very exhausting!
The SeaVista is very cute and cozy and the view from our room was impressive.
Our room was very clean, the bathroom was very small but we felt comfortable.
The whole team is very nice even if it sometimes looks in vain for the correct grammar :-)
We could have chosen each day for breakfast what we wanted and loved the smile with which it has served us!

I can only recommend SeaVista!

We arrived at Seavista after a 6 hour car journey and a sickly smelling car thanks to our 3 year old. Kate set the scene of the next few days and without hesitation or request from us had made us coffees, orange juices and taken the sick stained car seat cover to wash.

It was returned to us later that day clean, dry and smelling a hell of a lot better!

This type of service and genuine care for the people staying at the B&B was typical of Kate and her family. Nothing was too much for them (even providing Australian balm for a wasp sting!).

We had a family room with views over the valley. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 3 children aged 11,9 and 2 (3 when he was there). The family room was tight but there was 5 of us and you don't go to Mawgan Porth to sit in your room and shame on you if you do!

The breakfasts were clean and extremely tasty. Presented well and swiftly. Absolutely no complaints at all.

My fiancée and I are getting married in Mawgan Porth next year and we will definitely be staying at Seavista between now and then to organise things and will also heartily recommend Seavista to our guests.

The beach is only 5 minutes walk away however one thing to note is that you do have to walk against traffic on the road as there is no footpath, however those that are familiar with Cornwall should be use to such things.

In short we had a wonderful time and Kate and her family helped to make that happen and we whole heartedly recommend Seavista to anyone.

Kate and Ozzie were very both great - they're well known in the village and it seemed like everyone we met had something to do with Seavista as a chef/maid/handyman/supplier!

We used 2 rooms during a long weekend because we *had* to stay an extra night! Both were clean, well presented and functional. Breakfast was a selection of fruit smoothy, hearty fry-up or toast - all excellent. They have a really nice airy lounge for guests with amazing views over Mawgan Porth and the cove where we had surfing lessons from Ozzie's mates' surf school. Parking is free and off-road in the cul-de-sac but a little tight.

We walked up and down to Mawgan Porth for surf lessons/beach/dinner. It's a 5-10min walk but is on a steep country road with no footpath, so you need to be reasonably fit and nimble - and bring a torch if you want to tackle it at night because it is unlit.

Best things about Seavista? Excellent hosts and chilled vibe.
