“Great little cottage with very friendly ponies”
Reviewed September 24, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We arrived after a long flight and drive from Melbourne in the middle of the night, but the directions and instructions were clear. It was a fantastic little cottage, including very friendly animals. The only bad point was the lack of a drier.

“Lovely cottage in nice grounds”
Reviewed June 15, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The kids loved having freedom to explore this lovely ground. Fab play area, games room, stable, orchard all allowed 7 and 10 yo to feel a little freedom. We loved the cottage too. Nicely decorated and so well equipped. Lots of little touches. Only tiny negatives were downstairs loo smelly on arrival and master bed could be comfier plus cockerel a little noisy early in morning (but you are in the country!). Otherwise lovely cottage, perfect for the beach and Eden project, wish we'd stayed longer.

A very well maintained cottage, recently decorated, owners very helpful, extremely close to Eden Project. Superb, we'll be back!

“Peaceful location greeted with a sea view from every room.”
Reviewed July 12, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Myself and a friend spent a long weekend here to visit Eden Project, as well as take in some time around this beautiful part of the country.
The cottage was very well presented. Everything was fresh and nicely decorated. The rooms are identical to those pictured, and we enjoyed the excitement of the first look around.
Three Shetland ponies are on the grounds, which made a lovely start to the day in going and seeing them (nope, no smells to worry about!)

Location is slightly remote (which you quickly realise is a good choice), you will need a car or pushbikes to get to local amenities. We stocked up at Tesco, although found that Asda was closer (maybe 1.5 miles away).

Karen greeted us when we arrived, and she is lovely. The nice touches I found were that there was an extensive libabry of books to peruse, including childerns books in the children's bedroom. DVDs (cartoons etc) for children were there as well as a few CDs to listen to.

We loved the place and would go back again without a thought. Recommended.

Management Response
31 Mar 2013
Since we pour every possible effort into ensuring that guests are comfortable and happy, it is so lovely when we have such a response. We appreciate that holidays are the most precious time of everyone's year and so it is essential that we put every possible effort into making the cottage as homely as possible and aim to be available at any time for guests when/ if they should need us.
