We had dinner here the 2 nights we stayed in Gloucester for lack of somewhere else to go, not many places open on a Wednesday or Thursday night.
Wednesday night turned out to be Schnitzel night - pork, chicken or beef schnitzel, chips and coleslaw for $10 ($2 extra for gravy). Great price and tasted pretty good although coleslaw dressing was a bit strange. You go to the restaurant area to order , get a buzzer thingy and have to go and get it yourself when it buzzes so no waitstaff.
Was really busy this night and took a while to get but was pleasant sitting in the outside pub area having a drink. The only other thing you could order was steak so very limited menu on Schnitzel night.
The next night we went was back to the usual pub menu. I had pork belly and my partner had the gnocchi. I thought the gnocchi was horrible but he seemed to like it, and the pork belly was lovely with crispy skin, only problem quite small meals and not cheap. They did come out fairly quickly and staff were friendly.
We sat in the outside area again but not the pub section, in the quieter restaurant area which was lovely, there is also an inside area if you don't like sitting outside and would be good in winter but nice outside in summer.
They also have a beer and burger night for $10 (Friday maybe) and slow cooked bbq night (don't remember which night - Saturday or Sunday.)
