we were holidaying in the area with family and found this Indian Restaurant tucked away in Nullum Street Murwillimbah. There was only one waitress but she was very good. We ordered a Basket of Breads and Vegetable Pakora for entree. For main we ordered Lamb Nawabi, Chicken Chattinand, Bombay Potatoes & Paneer Chatinand. We asked for "medium" for the lamb and chicken but it was very mild. The Bombay Potatoes and Paneer Chatinand were very similar in taste (creamy). We had Kulfi and Gajar Halwa for dessert. The Indian desserts could be improved upon in our taste liking. We were overall happy with all the food and being on holiday and finding a restaurant close to where we were staying.

A great restaurant that is close to the main street, but not a part of the main shopping of downtown. This is my go-to restaurant when I want to impress visitors, have something to celebrate or commiserate, or just want a night out. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. There is a huge variety of meat-less dishes, but meat lovers are catered for as well. I love Indian food - as long as it isn't too spicy - and the Coriander keeps the spice to a manageable level. If you like it spicy I'm sure they could spice it up a bit - but I've only ever had the mild version because that's what I prefer. And it isn't just the food that keeps me coming back - it's the overall ambience that the combined features provide - especially the dine inside or outside feature. The friendliness of the staff is a bonus and adds to the overall experience. A great place to eat!

More upmarket than most Murwillumbah restaurants, yet casual, and located in a quiet part of town with plenty of parking. Very good selection of dishes and banquet menus. We chose banquets so decisions were made for us, relaxed with mango lassie using their home made yoghurt, and byo wine. Waitress was helpful, service was prompt, and the food really very good. The sauce with each dish was delicious and meats were tender. The lentil dish also very good. A couple of changes to the dessert selection were absolutely no problem. Easy to recommend and worth returning.

We decided on a takeaway on the recommendation from the Tourist Centre. We were pleased we did as this was some of the best Indian food we've eaten. Prepared promptly, it was delicious with some different flavours from the usual fare. Reasonable price too.
