We spent two nights at the Lehman House at Sylvania Tree Farm and had a wonderful time. The house was pleasant, warm, immaculately clean, and comfortable to stay in. There were five of us and there was plenty of space. The owner, Jane, was in touch before our stay to make sure we knew how to get there and what to bring, and to give recommendations about the area; while we were there, she was around just enough to take care of everything we needed but we still felt like we had complete quiet and privacy. The hospitality was all-around great, from the plate of home-made cookies and fudge waiting in the kitchen to the loan of the family's old sleds for our son to use. Lehman House itself is right on the street of a tiny village so it doesn't feel completely secluded, but the property is huge overall. We took a short walk and immediately found ourselves in the beautiful snowy woods, and there are trails for much more serious walks and hikes. There are small towns nearby and a ski area just a few minutes' drive away. All in all, this was a great getaway and a very pleasant experience - no complaints. A note for the always connected - there's no cell phone reception, and to access the Internet you need to walk or drive right up to the owners' home to use their wireless network.

If you are looking to escape look no further. This place is amazing from the cottages built right on the Delaware River, to the solitude and peace and quiet. Jane and John McKay the owners have done an outstanding job. There are about 6 cottages located on their 1,200 acre tree farm. We stayed at Two Bridges. You feel like you are lost in another amazing world away from it all. The cottage has a full kitchen, full bath, jacuzzi tub, a deck with a hammock, dull fireplace that goes from the LR to the bedroom. A fire pit outside and plenty of privacy. There are several amazing trails to hike and enjoy the nature all around. I usually get home sick by the third day, I could of stayed there forever. Truely a must go to place to have a romantic getaway and unwind.
