So we've been hearing the buzz around town about Amorette for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to go this past week. Arriving a few minutes early, we decided to try out a cocktail in the lounge before dinner. Immediately upon entering we both were blown away with the modern décor of the lounge, our eyes were drawn to the bold artwork, and the area was impressive before we even sat down. The cocktails were creative, refreshing and on point. Soon after, our table was ready and we were escorted to the dining room. Again, jaw-droppingly beautiful and my date whispered to me as we entered how absolutely stunning it was. The dinner menu was eclectic and had a wide range of options available for any palette. I enjoyed the Crab Cakes, (they were superb), while my date could not stop raving about the Lobster beurre Monte. The service was on point and flawless; we both agreed the timing of each new dish was impeccable and the presentation was well executed. I want to mention that during our visit, we adored the fact that Executive Chef Daniel LeBoon made it a point to excuse himself from his kitchen and introduce himself to the guests, both in the lounge and in the dining room. His enthusiastic and gracious personality made each diner feel special and appreciated, and it became quite clear that Chef LeBoon's passion for not only perfecting each dish was of utmost importance, but the entire experience of dining out as a whole was of utmost importance as well. He mentioned he hosts a more intimate dining experience, highlighting wineries and creating unique pairings that complement each other. We will be keeping our eyes open for the next opportunity, I believe he mentioned this happens monthly. Love the service, love the food, we absolutely love Amorette!
