Description: A sophisticated atmosphere in which to savor innovative and eclectic cuisine. Sample small plates in the bar and lounge area or treat yourself to a four or seven course tasting menu. For that extra special occasion, reserve our chefs table which treats 8 guests to a 12 course blind tasting menu. We take great pride in our ability to wow even the most restrictive of dietary demands.

So we've been hearing the buzz around town about Amorette for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to go this past week. Arriving a few minutes early, we decided to try out a cocktail in the lounge before dinner. Immediately upon entering we both were blown away with the modern décor of the lounge, our eyes were drawn to the bold artwork, and the area was impressive before we even sat down. The cocktails were creative, refreshing and on point. Soon after, our table was ready and we were escorted to the dining room. Again, jaw-droppingly beautiful and my date whispered to me as we entered how absolutely stunning it was. The dinner menu was eclectic and had a wide range of options available for any palette. I enjoyed the Crab Cakes, (they were superb), while my date could not stop raving about the Lobster beurre Monte. The service was on point and flawless; we both agreed the timing of each new dish was impeccable and the presentation was well executed. I want to mention that during our visit, we adored the fact that Executive Chef Daniel LeBoon made it a point to excuse himself from his kitchen and introduce himself to the guests, both in the lounge and in the dining room. His enthusiastic and gracious personality made each diner feel special and appreciated, and it became quite clear that Chef LeBoon's passion for not only perfecting each dish was of utmost importance, but the entire experience of dining out as a whole was of utmost importance as well. He mentioned he hosts a more intimate dining experience, highlighting wineries and creating unique pairings that complement each other. We will be keeping our eyes open for the next opportunity, I believe he mentioned this happens monthly. Love the service, love the food, we absolutely love Amorette!

We had dinner at this new restaurant in Lancaster, Amorette.
Great decor, we ordered their 4 courses menu where you can select your own choices and it was very good, the service was attentive and friendly although the first course took a little too much to be served. We selected a bottle of wine and the two sommeliers were awesome, Thierry from France and Antonio from Italy both very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining.
We will definitely be back and try their wine pairing option.

We had heard about Amorette from friends and decided to try it for our anniversary. We have eaten in many countries, with many kinds of food. This place is great. It is tucked into the bottom corner of the building, and the sign is not very big, but the gold doors give it away. The decor is amazing, think upscale 60’s, and the staff were wonderful.
You can try a four course selection you choose from their amazing menu or you can go with the seven course tasting. We have always wanted to try a tasting, we did...and it was well worth it. The food was just wonderful. Everything had its own flavors. What was very special was there were a few “the chef is trying this, it’s a...” treats in there.
The staff are great, they are locals who genuinely care about a place like this making it in Lancaster, so they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. This is not the place to go for a quick bite (although their bar side might be), but if you have something special to celebrate and you want to feel like your meal was prepared and served by people who genuinely care about food and your happiness, go ahead and make a reservation, let them help you with the wine and have the antelope!

we came home starving from our lunch today - good thing we have a 1 star vietnamese joint for take out here in our philly neighborhood
oh the pretentiousness in this overly decorated spot - absolutely nothing sleek or design contemporary going on here
the waiter - needed a good haircut and a well fitting suit (if you're going to go for pretentious go for it!)
the food -salad overly dressed with tomato colored mayonnaise on the grilled romaine salad (which was cold - isn't warm the idea?) my daughter specifically asked for her soup and salad to be served together as her entree - waiter evidently knew better and served the salad first, informing her that 'it's better this way' - what????
2 people had soup - both reviewed 'over salted and bland' and they each left soup in the bowls
2 of us had the crab cake - which was fantastic!!! - and was plated exquisitely - visually
sadly - the carrots and potatoes were mush
we were celebrating a birthday and in most philly restaurants, even if you don't order a dessert (which we did not) the kitchen sends a little something for the birthday girl
they did not
a preposterously overpriced and completely uninspired lunch

Been to this restaurant several times since its opening. Décor is absolutely fabulous. Big wow factor. It is clear that the owner/operators of this restaurant spared no expense. Hard to believe this restaurant is in Lancaster. Feels like New York, Paris or London. Service was very warm, genuine and attentive in the bar and in the dining room. Very polished, precise and professional. Extensive wine list is also a plus with knowledgeable sommeliers. Food presentation was outstanding and it was delicious. It is surprising that they were able to provide such high quality and prompt service after only being open for a short time. We have friends who did the chef's table one evening, which they reported was a very special and intimate experience with the chef and his staff, and they loved it. We were not able to attend, but definitely have it on the list to do in the future. Glad to see that someone is promoting a higher end bar and restaurant experience in Lancaster as another option. We are looking forward to our next experience at Amorette.
