Show lessWe have stayed here the last few years during annual trip. If you have an older person with your group or want to be closer to others, select the two room suite. It allows for a separate, but close second bedroom with its own bath. It works for my group. This year, my wife and I shared the two queen room with my sister-in-law and her husband, while elderly mother-in-law was in the king room.
Consistent, but busy breakfast room. Very friendly house-keeping staff.
Thank you for your rating and review! We are glad to hear that the two-bedroom suite worked out well for your stay. We are also delighted to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast as well as our friendly staff. We appreciate that you continue to choose us to stay with when you are in the area! We hope to see you back soon!
Outstanding property. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Large modern bathroom with 2 sinks. Plenty of hot water. Our suite had a king size bed, separate sitting area and 2 TV’s, large desk, iron and board. Free Wi-Fi. Guests have access to computers and internet service in a semi-private room. 2 elevators. Indoor pool and hot tub. Workout gym. Vending machines and free ice. Everything worked properly.
Professional, friendly, helpful staff. We declined daily housekeeping but were gladly provided with additional clean towels. Free parking, large parking lot.
Close to all: Dutch Wonderland amusement park, Amish Farm and House attraction, restaurants, shopping, etc.
Coffee and tea available in lobby 24/7. Large breakfast area. Complimentary hot breakfast is limited due to the pandemic but there were several choices: prepackaged breakfast sandwiches like bacon, egg and cheese or sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit; and there are fresh waffles as well as cereals, juice, fresh fruit, danish, muffins, pastries, etc. Hopefully Country Inn and Suites will relax their pandemic protocol soon and begin serving hot choices like eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes again like other hotel chains have done already.
We totally enjoyed our stay in Lancaster. My fiancé’s job as a federal government employee entitled us to a substantially discounted rate. Thank you!
Thank you for your rating and review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, the amenities we offer, our friendly staff, and our convenient location. We are also glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Lancaster! Please consider staying with us again!
We were there at the end of Columbus Day weekend. The Monday night was fair price but the Sunday night was about $100 more. Things were just more expensive on the holiday I guess. Supply and Demand! We had a king suite. It was two rooms with a bathroom in between. That was very nice. Each room had a TV, also a bonus. There was lots of room. The breakfast was well staffed by conscientious hard working staff. The selection for breakfast was average but they did have a lot of snacks that we don't normally see at this type of breakfasts. I was sad :) that they used a generic frosted flakes instead of Kelloggs! Just saying! Not at all the same! It was very close to places we wanted to see but it was on a very busy street. There is a lot of 18 Wheeler traffic and could hear the exhaust breaks in the middle of the night on occasion. The bedding was excellent. A good experience but might choose a quieter place next time.
Thank you for your rating and feedback! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us. We are glad you enjoyed the King suite. We do apologize that the traffic noise bothered you. In the future we would recommend booking a Queen suite (2 Queen beds and a living room with a pullout sofa) as this room type is on the backside of the building and away from the highway. We hope you enjoyed your time in Lancaster and that you will consider staying with us again on your next visit to the area!
