Purchased a fish sandwich and it was pretty good. Staff was friendly but the place is a little outdated.

Great food and lots of it. Large open area with plenty of booths. Appears to be remodeled warehouse with excellent air conditioning. Great job in appearance. Easy access for everyone. Lots of historic pictures and patriotic touches. Servers were very efficient and food was ready very quickly.

Jimmy's isn't fancy but the food and service a solid. Comfort food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plenty of choices on the menu.

After tossing the princesses off at school, the king and I headed over to Jimmy's for breakfast.
Located in an unassuming wooden building in Mars, Jimmy's offers big value and tasty food. The interior is classic American hole-in-the wall. Decorated with photos from Mars' past, you get a side of history with your pancakes.
The king got the pancakes and I ordered the egg breakfast, no toast. Being GF, breakfast is generally limited to eggs and meat, but there were still several options for me.
The eggs were done just right - yolks runny but cooked, whites firm with a slight crust at the edges. The ham was enormous, grilled beautifully, with a slightly carmellized flavor.
The king said the pancakes were tasty - fluffy and sweet, with just a hint of buttermilk tang. (Ok, he said, "these are really good" - but I pressed for more details on the flavor).
The service is friendly in a way only small town people can be- efficient, welcoming and slightly sassy.
The portions are large, the food tasty, the prices cheap, and the whole place an homage to small town America. Jimmy's will remind you of what a meal is supposed to be, and how much we lose living in the big city.
