I haven't really sat down in the restaurant and eaten in there, but we did order take out food on two different occasions recently, and the food was very, very good. No complaints. Sandwiches were delicious and the rolls the sandwiches were on were different than the type hoagie/sub roll. They were much better! More like true Italian bread that had been freshly baked. People in the restaurant were friendly, and we were just pleased. Our grandkids ordered different things from the menu and everyone ate every bite, which is kind of unusual for my grandkids. We'll order again, and my husband and I are going to eat at the restaurant sometime soon. We've heard the owners treat their customers nice, so that makes us want to 'dine their'.

Stopped into this place totally randomly on the way home from a doctor's appointment, deciding to take the long, scenic route back home. Family was skeptical when we went in because the looks of the place aren't top notch, but what we received was the most top notch Italian meal in my 38 years of eating at Italian restaurants. And the owner was the nicest man you could ever meet. We almost had tears in our eyes when we left he was so nice and the food was so amazing and authentic. We now will travel out of the way just to go here for Italian food. DO NOT judge a book by its cover! This is the best Italian food and the nicest service for 100 miles around, at least.

My mother is Italian. Not the Olive Garden type of Italian but the type that takes all day to prepare sauce. The Alfredo had good flavor, but the chicken was pink inside and bland. The white pizza was decent and also heavy on the garlic but what made this the worst was the garlic knots. We ordered garlic bread and got home with garlic knots. They were soaked in butter and garlic. Next time we visit this area we will choose another place.

Being a former NJ resident and frequent NYC visitor, its hard to fond food that compares to the big city food. This does. I have been here a few times now, and each time better than the last. The bread is homemade, the ingredients are fresh, and every meal is bursting with flavor. If you live around here or are passing by, this is a must stop.
