Yes folks.... outside of Naples.
I’ve had a lifetime of pizza from Naples and this is the closest I’ve found. Especially in all places - Pennsylvania!
The place is small but it was cute and well decorated to give you a sense of Italy.
We were three people. We ordered two pizzas, a Regina Margherita and Covaccino with arugula, prosciutto and shaved parmigiano cheese. Both were outstanding!
We also wanted to try some of their regular cooking and ordered a bowl of linguini with clams..... but we wanted to split it just so we could try it and the waitress quickly asked if she could split it in the kitchen for us into three plates. When she brought out the dishes they were beautifully prepared with equal portions of clams in a delicious broth with sliced sweet cherry tomatoes. The clams were baby clams and very tender.... and the linguini was perfectly al dente.
Would we return?
Absolutely. This place has done their homework... and done it well. They deliver an experience that you could only get here in Phoenixville or fly 9 hours overseas and have a pizza in Naples.
Well done folks. From the pizzaiolo to the kitchen and wait staff.
