Room was clean. location was walkable but just ok. not necessarily near any place that you want to walk to get out and enjoy the city. Valet set up is odd. there is not proper place of on and off load your luggage. Hotel staff, including valet, were really kind.

Hilton Garden in still is not serving breakfast! All other Hilton Garden Inns in the area do and other Hilton properties in the Northern Virginia/DC area are! Will stay at the Residence Inn next visit. I was told there would be two bottles of water in my room, (I am Diamond), no water in the room. Only have valet parking and it is terrible when someone in from of you is unloading a van. It is such a steep hill, you have to wait until they unload so you can unload your stuff. Too bad. Stayed at this hotel a lot over the years and breakfast was a high point! Used my key to get into my room then went to get ice, (had to use to open vending machine room), key would not open room door. Only had my key. Went to front desk and they asked for identification and would not fix my key. Lastly, colleague stayed at the same hotel and in the middle of the night, someone came into her room!! Now how does that happen. The ran when she asked who was there. Residence Inn here I come.
