This hotel is wonderful. It is in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to many things in Pittsburg. Most importantly it is clean and comfortable. I am picky about where we stay and I would rate this hotel a 5/5. The hotel staff is also very accommodating especially Chelsey. If we ever visit Pittsburg again we will definitely stay here.

Great views of the river with lighted boat cruising by, and an equally great view to the city skyline with the buildings lighted at night. Not to be overlooked is the free in-out parking on a surface lot adjacent to the building. Extremely convenient, and easy to navigate.

Good, convenient location with updated rooms and a friendly staff. The free parking is a super bonus (especially in this area) that really puts this spot over the top. Breakfast is good and we always found a seat (busy Mets fan weekend). We got a river view room which was pretty awesome.
The only downside I found was the approximate distance to the restaurants, etc. listed on their sheet is inaccurate. It's a little bit of a walk just to get to Penn Ave. and the Cultural District. Overall, recommended!

I always have good luck with Hampton Inn and overall this place was great. Obviously the free parking is a plus, got a decent deal paying in advance and the location was great. We walked all over the Strip and North Side areas, plus over to the Grand Concourse bar in the former train station. Chelsey at the front desk was excellent (as were the other people but she's who we dealt with the most), the room was big, comfortable and clean, plus we had a view. We did have problems with the TV not getting a few channels and even tho someone was sent up to look at it, it never acted up on him yet was fairly constant for us. Not a huge deal (except when you're trying to watch hockey highlights and it flickers off). Good place.

We we’re extremely happy in choosing Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown Pittsburgh for our stay. We only stayed 1 night as we were just passing through. The hotel room we booked was the Queen Suite and it was way bigger than we expected. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The parking was secured in the back of the building and was free. It was located within walking distance of so many fun things and in a beautiful location. We walked to the Primanti Bro. Restaurant, explored the strip district and went to the Heinz History Museum right across the street. The hotel staff let us keep our vehicle in their parking lot after check out for the day so we could explore on foot. It was an amazing time and we would highly recommend this place.
