First let me say that this is a beautifully appointed restaurant/hotel. We were excited to try out the restaurant on an early evening during the "Light Up Skippack" night. I think we arrived around 5pm. So we were greeted by the hostess who was not the most-est, to say the least. We had to ask her where to go, sit, etc. as we had not visited before. #uncomfortable. We were told that we could go in the bar area (upstairs) and sit wherever. Okay. So, we walked in and went to sit down and were immediately told that we couldn't sit in the empty seats because the owner had saved them for his friends. :( We were not given any other options, so we just kind of wandered around trying to figure out where else we could sit. Eventually we found the downstairs bar where the service was MUCH BETTER. My husband was already irritated (okay p.o'd) about the upstairs service, so we were happy to find much more accommodating service downstairs. We just sat at the bar. Our bartenders were very, very nice. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and had the crab cake sliders and the cheese plate. Really enjoyed the cheese plate, for sure.

I don't know if we'd go back or not. Very mixed feeling about the place.

This was my third time at Bella Rossi, it was very good. We had a table of 6 and were seated very promptly after enjoying a cocktail at their bar. It was a very nice outside dining experience. You are near the parking lot so it's not a great spot if seeking privacy but it was enjoyable. All six of us had very diverse choices from their menu. All were very happy with our meals. This is not high end dining but very good food. You will pay a little more just because it's Skippack. I saw some reviews referencing a not so friendly staff. I would say the hostess while no a warm and fuzzy type was attentive and professional and treated us efficiently. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and very efficient as well as friendly. I would alway suggest reservations. Overall a very nice experience.

My wife and I were taken here by our children to celebrate my belated birthday, and my wife's birthday. We started off with what I would call the perfect Bloody Mary.
We followed that with appetizers that consisted of lamb chops, muscles and beef carpaccio. Every item was picture perfect and a treat to the palate.
Dinner entrées consisted of pan seared scallops with mussels, Italian beef shoulder and a chicken breast stuffed with sausage. Also a treat. All dishes were accompanied with a baby zucchini risotto.
The wines were perfectly paired to the meal thanks to my children's extensive knowledge. For the desserts we had a crème brûlée, a lemon tarragon cheesecake and a fantastic baked Alaska.
There are 23 places to eat in this quaint town. Based upon this meal I would have to say this is one of the best places.

Bella Rossa has the best pizza ever! The wait staff and bar tenders are wonderful. There is live music on the weekends too. Nice little gem in Skippack Village.
