We enjoy the Summit Diner when we are traveling through the area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very good! Save room for dessert!!

I don’t usually have dessert, but as we were eating our dinner they were bringing out their fresh baked pies. We had the coconut meringue, strawberry rhubarb and the gob cake. All were fabulous.
Dinner was great too. Everything made with fresh ingredients. It’s a must stop if in Somerset.

Found this local jewel via internet search.

50’s themed decor.

I sat at the counter as the place was packed. Staff was very attentive, quick on orders and refills without the sense of being rushed.

Roast beef sandwich was excellent! Meal and drink was under $10.

We stopped by here while hitting various antique shops in the area. Service was friendly and quick. BLT and fries were what you would expect. The Cindy Sue burger was not -- with an onion ring, bacon, jalapeno jack, bbq sauce, and double patty, it's too big for a toothy pick to hold it together, so they just skewer it with a steak knife. Tried to eat only half, to be on the healthy side, but it was too good. Pies looked delicious, but couldn't do it after a rootbeer float.
You want great food and to get your money's worth, try this place!

This place is a return to the past with it's old fashion atmosphere an down home friendliness and service. Small place not far from PA Turnpike exit. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Food was delicious. Check out the milk shakes made to order. Great change of pace from normal turnpike exit restaurants.
