Four of us dined here on a weekend night.

The place itself is a lovely historic house, very comfortable, The vibe is low-key and inviting. There is live music on the weekends. We had a folk/soft rock duo who were fine but loud if you're trying to talk.

Food was average. Shepherd's pie was salty, burger okay, salmon unremarkable. The others loved their desserts, though, and the hummus appetizer was good.

We'd go again and sit at the bar but probably not return for dinner.

Spotty service but waitress Anna was excellent.

Food was prepared as ordered and was of average quality. Service was attentive and friendly. Price was medium. Sitting outside on a very nice day--a bonus!

Went on a Friday evening, it was busy but not crazy busy.
Took over 20 minutes for my first drink to arrive (beer) after joining the table with apologies that it was busy.
The Wings were very good and came in a normal time frame.
We then waited at least 30 minutes for our burgers which were ordered at the same time as the appetizers. The burgers were good but arrived with apologies for taking so long. Other food looked good as well as it went by.
Check came with some extra drinks on it, which they fixed.
After about another 20 minutes of waiting we took the check inside to pay it.
Overall reasonable priced food which is good, not O my gosh great, at OK prices. Only going with average due to consistent slow service and erroneous charges on bill.

It's always a treat to eat at Bordley House, more poeple should know about this place. Nice small bar but lots of dining space and a sweet outdoor terrace overlooking the valley of Broad Run. The food is certainly a step above your normal fried bar food, with excellent calamari and one of Chester Counties BEST burgers.

We chose the Bordley House Grille for my husband's 60th birthday party. Wendy did a fantastic job helping us plan the party for about 25 people which we held out on the patio. Our guests raved about the location, food and service. There even happened to be a band that night. Our server Nikki was great and the food was plentiful and delicious.
