Our room was clean, staff were friendly. Although they were limiting guests in pool area, we chose not to use the pool. Quick service breakfast, with prepackaged foods. Restocked when needed. We were very happy.

We left with the impression that this is a hotel that makes great effort to keep guests and staff safe from the pandemic. All staff wore masks, the breakfast service was re-arranged to minimize exposure, the room was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping comes on demand only. We felt safe.

1st time staying in a hotel since the pandemic. Given the COVID circumstances, the stay was pretty good. Check in was fast and the 2 front desk had masks on. They also limited the pool capacity but since we stayed only 1 night, we didn't use it.

Breakfast was limited as well, they had a table out in with breakfast area with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt - basic things. Only drawback was they didn't refill when things ran out around 8 which was a busy time since most people came down.

For cleanliness, they have a sticker outside the door letting guests know it's been cleaned. They also have sanitizer wipes by the phones and there are labels letting guests know what's been cleaned.

Drawback for the room: no fridge or microwave. I'm used to having these in most hotel rooms especially Hampton Inns.

We just spent a night at this hotel to attend a funeral. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff and checking was very fast. The lobby was bright and clean. We rented two rooms, one a king and the other two queens. They were next to each other. Both rooms were clean and spacious. Only the king had a fridge. The breakfast was minimal due to COVID, so we went out. There are many restaurants nearby. Luckily the hotel was very quiet and did not have people running around. This is a nice place to stay.

The rooms, cleaning personnel and other staff were masked and room hygiene followed the written Hilton/Hampton Inn policy which was published and the basis on which we booked this hotel.

However, the public area at the entrance to the hotel, which is both the breakfast area and the only lobby/public space in the facility, was full of approximately 20 unmasked, rowdy people, obviously not a single family group, sitting and STANDING in close proximity to each other and to the only entrance and the check in space. Not a single person had on a mask, despite a posted hotel policy saying it was required in public spaces. Three times, the hotel staff refused our request that they talk to the people violating the rules

The reason given - half-heartedly and with no sympathy for our concern about risky surroundings -- was that people could be unmasked when "sitting and eating in restaurants." There was NO food or drink being served. The hotel never described the space as a restaurant; there were no servers, no tables set for dining and no one consuming even their own food in the vicinity.

If we are going to bring this virus under control, Hampton Inn, its management and all of us are going to have to observe the guidelines spelled out very clearly by Hilton and by health authorities. The management of this hotel has lost us as a customer for Hampton Inn for the foreseeable future. They let us down and it was a very worrying and unsatisfactory stay, entirely avoidable if the rules had been observed.
