Super nice, brand new hotel in York PA.....someone indicated a little hard to find. This wouldn't be any fault of theirs....YORK as a whole is a mess when it comes to your GPS coordinating a route (we took MANY different routes to the same location in two days!) Once you get your bearings you can find this place easily. Hotel was brand new, spotlessly clean.....offered free breakfast which unfortunately we could not take advantage of. Only issue I had was the pull out sofa! When using it, it completely butts up against the bed. Room should have been a minimum of a foot wider. There was no way to get around the bed to the bathroom in the middle of the night or in the morning without climbing over. Sadly there isn't a fix for this, so make sure who ever has to "go" in the middle of the night sleeps next to the bathroom side. Staff was friendly, pool was nice, bed was SUPER COMFY.....great place to stay!

We were passing through and spent the night. This was are first stay at a Towneplace, but definitely keep it on our radar for next time. The hotel is tucked away from the main road and nearby every store or restaurant.

We missed out on the breakfast, the beds were that comfortable to us. Maybe next time!

Before we left home we checked up on them and saw a couple of minor issues but overall a great place to stay. Our arrival and check-in went super smooth and we soon headed up to our rooms. First impression? Clean! Well laid out! Awesome people working there who were extremely "bent-over-backward" helpful! We got rooms on the 4th floor and when we mentioned the "minor" issue with a large trucking area in the back of the hotel we were told that "On the fourth floor you will not hear them". It was true! We had "not quite" adjoining rooms, one with king and one two bedroom. They were spacious and in excellent condition. No wear evident anywhere. We stayed 5 days and our contact with everyone from the "breakfast lady" to the desk clerk(s) to the maintenance people/maids/etc. was of the BEST kind. Polite, helpful and friendly! We had NO room cleaning during out stay, opting for only fresh towels/etc. each day. The desk staff was especially helpful with directions to our vacation sites - Hershey Park, Hershey Chocolate factory, Hershey Museum, Baltimore, etc... everywhere we wanted to go was made an easy trip!! Although we were far from Hershey it only took 45 minutes on mostly interstate highway and seemed to go by quickly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is doing a long term stay in York, PA.

Room Tip: Upper floors if in the back.

Used Marriott points to book this hotel for 2 nights in York. The lobby is basic but the suites are pleasantly laid out with fridge, stove top and microwave. The staff were friendly and polite. The requested wake up call didn't happen, so it was fortunate that I had my phone alarm set.

Well appointed rooms with plenty of storage and closet space. AC thermostat had a 3 degree range. Set it on 74 it would rise to 77 before coming on. When it came on it would freeze you (drop to 72) before shutting off. Night time sleeping was interesting ranging from freezing to hot over a 2 hour cycle. Nothing to do with the comfort but thought it was strange that the plagues on the wall used for the room numbers were crooked. Most of these hotels use the same food service for the microwaved breakfast sausage and as usual it is flimsy and greasy with a taste just above cardboard. The other items were prepackaged and what you would expect. Muffins, Yogurt, Bananas, cereal etc. The best is properly the waffles on weekends. Breakfast is over at 9am on week days and the attendant made sure you were aware of it and ready to clear the food area by 9am. There are several chain restaurants within walking distance. Ask for a room facing the front, there is a trucking company on the back side and they operate 24 hr.
