This neat title coffee shop has great live music and a millions dollar oceanfront view. It is the good stuff of life here. Yes, as other reviewers have said, service is slow. I kind of like it. I love going there and seeing smiling staff, patient people taking my kid's orders, knowing that there is a guarantee of good coffee and bagels. I find the muffins too spongy, but the rest is a win. Enjoy the slower pace!

This little coffee shop has a million dollar view! The food is yummy and the coffee is the best around. Don't take it to go...stay and enjoy the seaside view on the spacious outdoor deck

The good coffee and location is ruined by the painfully slow service. I make the mistake of going back in there once in awhile- thinking that for sure they must have replaced the help by now. It seems that management has never thought to mention to their employees that perhaps the people in that long line actually would rather be sitting down eating and drinking? The other day, I observed 2 employees in a row say "next, please" in the quietest of voices, so that no one could hear them. When no one came up to be served next, both employees just literally stood there, staring off into space, even though there was a substantial line. They would have stood there all afternoon if someone in the line hadn't started taking control of the situation and telling people where and when to step up to be served. Ridiculous and confounding. My brother is a coffee-holic and lives near this place, however he typically travels another 10 minutes up the road to a different coffee house. The other day he was in a rush so dropped in to Java Madness- delighted to see there was no one in line, he thought for once he would be in and out in five minutes. To his amazement, though he was the only customer, prying a latte out of them still took 15 minutes. Did I mention that the food and coffee are good and that the outside deck is pleasant? What a waste. With good management this place could actually be a place you would want to visit.

went for just a special coffee and a fresh piece of breakfast pastry...now I am a regular. The place smells delicious, everything is fresh and the help is so accommodating. Nice place to go for a coffee and bagel and sit out on the deck...enjoy!

I have been here only a couple of times due to location. It's off the beaten path, unless you're a student or service the local hospital or marina nearby. With that said, the coffee is very good, and the service very friendly. If you're in the area, worth the stop.
