very nice room, clean, quiet, safe. Breakfast was a little skimpy--no fruit,yogurt,etc.. coffee kept running low or empty often... rocking chairs outside needed fixing-not comfortable--but a nice shady area to sit and listen to birds, etc.

The room was a good size and loved that it had a kitchen, which was very convenient so we didn't have to go out for some of our meals. The staff gave us any supplies/amenities that we needed, i.e. dishes, silverware, pots, pans, dish detergent, etc. which surprised us and was very convenient. Some of the things we didn't like was that they didn't clean the room unless you paid a "nominal fee" and we had to throw out our own garbage. Someone else booked our room and they didn't mention that to us when we checked in so we didn't know about it. Breakfast was between 6 - 9:30 a.m., which was too early for us and only consisted of coffee, tea, muffins and granola bars. Our rooms were clean when we arrived but what did bother me was that I noticed the hallway floors were not vacuumed or kept up with and the same litter was on the floor for several days. Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel. I didn't know all the staff's names but Chantel, Alicia and especially Stefon were very helpful and friendly.

After reading the negative reviews surrounding this Extended Stay, we were a little sceptical as to what to expect. What the low start reviewers say couldn’t be further from the truth.

Hotel is very conveniently located within 15 minutes drive from downtown Providence and all necessary shopping bits are located nearby.

Peoples point about the lack of housekeeping is ridiculous. It is CLEARLY stated on their website, so it’s your own fault for not doing your research beforehand. The housekeeping rule was reiterated at check in. Towels are available as often as you like from reception, or they will even take the towels to your room for your return from your day out.

At the end of the day, it is designed to be your own apartment, so why would you want someone coming in when it should be YOUR responsibility?

The room size is extremely good, and extremely spacious in the room itself. When we arrived, all was clean and tidy. Reception staff were all pleasant, especially Alicia, who was always on hand to resolve anything.

The only drawback I’d say would be the fact that hot water and coffee are not available throughout the day, only at breakfast.

If returning to this area, this hotel would be top of the list. Great stay.

Pros: The room was a good size -- not too big or small; ample parking; relatively clean room; good location close to freeway, food, and places to shop; had kitchen and full size fridge in room; quiet even though it was full of people.

Cons: The kitchen was not stocked with pots/silverware/dishes/cups (you have to ask for this and they only give you what you ask for, which makes the experience very inconvenient); rooms were not cleaned during our stay (no maid service during your stay apparently is their policy); workout room a joke -- it's just a treadmill and stationary bike (no weights); very slow wifi (under 1 Mbps per Speedtest.net); breakfast ends at 9:30 and was very minimal; no coffee maker in room; no coffee available throughout day in common area; no trash collection or instructions about where to put it.

But my review of this motel might be slightly biased -- I paid around $170 per night because it was during a very busy period for them, so my expectations were higher than they would be if I had paid $100 per night.

Room Tip: They do surge pricing during busy periods. No trash collection or maid service during our stay.

Thank you for evaluating your stay. We are glad to read you liked the spaciousness of your room and our location. However, we are sorry that you were unhappy with our hotel policy. To ensure cleanliness of kitchenware upon check-in, brand standards require us to make these items available at the front desk rather than leaving them in the suites. We would also like to inform you that, to respect the privacy of our long-term guests, our housekeeping service is conducted on a weekly basis, although we are always happy to provide this at your request for a minimal fee. If we did not communicate this at the time of check-in, we apologies. We hope you will give us another chance to serve you better.

Sincerely,
Hotel Management

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The price was cheaper than those in Providence downtown and it promised to have a kitchen. The room we stayed was very basic, with quite dated facilities, such as the kitchen. You need to ask for cups, plates etc. If you don't stay for at least 7 nights, there will be no room cleaning. Our biggest issue was road noise, because our room is directly facing freeway.
The available breakfast is muffin and some bars.
If you want to stay and don't like constant noise day and night, make sure you ask for a room facing away from the freeway!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing away from the freeway.
