Every time we walk in here, the smells wafting through the kitchen makes our stomach grumble. Their menu is large and doesn’t seem to change from lunch to dinner. Their location is prime for Beaufort, right on the park overlooking the water. Pluses include a large pet friendly patio, and an interior that is both spacious and attractive. The site used to be a bank, but the bar looks like something from an old Manhattan club.
Dishes sampled included shrimp salad (tossed with lemon, dill, and a light hand of mayo) served over greens, Caesar salad topped with a crab cake, white flatbread with shrimp, garlic, olive oil chicken and cheese, and a blackened grouper sandwich served with a lightly dressed lemony pasta salad.
Though nothing was mind blowing, all the dishes were enjoyed and everyone was pleased with their meals and choices. I wish they had a bit more variety in the pasta department. But appreciate the half portion option.
When the weather cools, we look forward to coming back with our pups and enjoying the beautiful views from the patio and the good food. Mangia.
