“Delicious and different”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2012

No sure why a lot of other reviewers didn't like it, but I thought they had great choices. I was especially happy that they had a lot of options with meat AND vegetables. My meal was delicious, and the drinks were good and reasonably priced.

“Worst Mexican we've ever eaten”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2011

Just got into Charleston and were walkng around at night trying to find a place to eat. Had been driving all day and were tired of walking so we walked into this place. I had a bad feeling when they handed us menus that were greasy and grimy and looked a bit like the menus at Waffle House. The chips and salsa were good and that's where good ended. My husband, who under normal circumstances, doesn't find a plate that he can't clean....took a bite or two and then said, "This isn't very good is it?". I was a little afraid to order any meat so I had a plate with a bean burrito, chile poblano, rice and beans. The rice was the only thing that was "okay" at least. The red sauce that they pour all over the top smells and tastes like Ragu or Chefboyrdee. I took only one bite of the chile poblano...I can't even describe how awful that was. So, if you're going for chips, salsa, and a diet coke...you might be safe. Just don't look too closely at the dirt and grime that covers just about everything in there.

“There are better restaurants in the area!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2010

When we first walked in we weren't sure if we were going to stay. It smelled very moldy. Our food was very flavorful. We ordered chili rellenos. Only one of us got a little piece of a green chili. The others got a little breading instead. Mostly we got beans and cheese. The service was good but it wasn't very clean.
