They only have valet parking for a few cars. The municipal parking garage is adjacent and costs $18 per calendar day,
($36) for an overnight stay. Breakfast is horrible! Frozen biscuits and coffee. There are better options.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Location was within walking distance from all downtown Charleston has to offer. Only issue was absurd parking rates next to hotel. You have to leave your car parked there the entire time because if you leave after parking less than 24 hours be ready to pay the $2/hr rate which adds up if you come and go from the hotel.

This was a nice hotel in a good location. Larger rooms were extremely helpful when traveling with pets/children. The pet relief area was really the only disappointment. Around the building in a dark dirty open lot was the only space to take your pet. I understand the space is limited and it was not a pet hotel when built. The lot must not be owned by the hotel so they probably cannot landscape it and add lights. The parking is expensive but this is how it is in the historic Charleston area. Just plan ahead and you won’t be surprised. Also, the breakfast is about the best that you can provide during Covid. But overall, I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Charleston. Very pleased with the service.

The hotel is in a great location with just a bit of walking about a mile you can be anywhere in downtown Charleston. The hotel is top notch is all respects. The breakfast was lacking due to the response to Covid but better than most places we've stayed since March.

The staff at the hotel were great and very accommodating for what they could do. The rep I spoke with on the phone was horrible and the rooms were disgusting and all need deep cleans and checked to make sure everything works and is up to par. For almost 600 in 3 days I had much higher expectations and hopes for this trip. Honestly our first night was ruined because we had speant hours figuring out whether or not we were going to stay. The only reason we stayed was because we had already drove all day to get there and just wanted to be done with everything. The rooms layout is also very odd and doesn’t make sense to have a TV in a room with no couch to sit at and instead have the kitchen island there with a stool as if that was more comfortable. Both rooms we were in were pretty filthy. The second one was much cleaner but still you could tell that they just get a half done clean after guests leave. Also, the bed we slept on was as hard as a rock. I understand company standard is a luxury firm but there was nothing luxury about the mattress we stayed on.
