This is about my fourth time staying on this property. What a disappointment. The hallway rug on the third floor where I stayed needed a good vacuum, towels on the floor in the hall Friday to Sunday in same spot. The kitchen counter in my suite had a smeared substance on it, looked like old food. Not enough towels in bathroom. I asked for enough towels for the weekend and received two, was promised two more for the following day but towels never appeared. I spent at least an hour cleaning my suite with Antiseptic wipes due to the dirty counter. Parked around the corner for 10.00 per day with in and out privileges. Phone never answered!!

Room tip: Park around the corner for 10.00 per day, bring cleaning supplies

Nice hotel. Loved their remote check in and check out. The parking is extremely expensive so be prepared but overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and everyone (guests and employees wore masks. We felt safe and were able to enjoy the weekend.

They only have valet parking for a few cars. The municipal parking garage is adjacent and costs $18 per calendar day,
($36) for an overnight stay. Breakfast is horrible! Frozen biscuits and coffee. There are better options.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Location was within walking distance from all downtown Charleston has to offer. Only issue was absurd parking rates next to hotel. You have to leave your car parked there the entire time because if you leave after parking less than 24 hours be ready to pay the $2/hr rate which adds up if you come and go from the hotel.

This was a nice hotel in a good location. Larger rooms were extremely helpful when traveling with pets/children. The pet relief area was really the only disappointment. Around the building in a dark dirty open lot was the only space to take your pet. I understand the space is limited and it was not a pet hotel when built. The lot must not be owned by the hotel so they probably cannot landscape it and add lights. The parking is expensive but this is how it is in the historic Charleston area. Just plan ahead and you won’t be surprised. Also, the breakfast is about the best that you can provide during Covid. But overall, I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Charleston. Very pleased with the service.
