Fantastical food, refined North African decor, and excellent service, only a hop, skip, and a jump from pleasant touristy walks on the state capitol grounds and the University of South Carolina campus.

I had the felafel special and left satisfied. There were plenty of other Middle Eastern dishes from which to choose. Service was very good, too.

The only thing that sucked was the parking situation. The restaurant is in a strip mall with a TINY parking lot. Luckily, there's plenty of street parking and pay lots nearby, because this restaurant is worth taking a break from the road for.

Authentic and delicious. Great vegetarian options. Daniel was the best! This is a new favorite, and reasonably priced.

Late 4pm lunch at a family style after road travel was such a welcome relief from all the farm to table cutesy overpriced restaurants. Welcome atmosphere where hours are not a big deal. Mediterranean ( Middle Eastern) Sit down Home cooking was enjoyed by our family in the form of kabobs, falafel, hummus , salads, pita, & take out of same.
So wonderful to patronize a family restaurant with authentic home-style cooking. Great service was enjoyed! Thank you to this hard working family for providing us a quality meal " in their home" !

If you're an ethnic foodie this place has great Moroccan/Med food. The food tastes very authentic (or what you would think authentic would be) and is reasonably priced. I had the hummus signature plate with lamb and my wife had the kabobs. My kids split a cheese pizza. The seasonings are very good and everything was cooked very well. My hummus plate featured a light and all.its airy hummus, very different than what you buy in the store. The damascus bread that it comes with is amazing and inspire you to want to bake natural fresh bread at home. Everything was good and we ate every last bite. Stay for the baklava it's only a buck a piece when you buy 4. If you're close to USC campus and want to be able to eat for 35.00 check out out.

Delicious Mediterranean food, friendly, conscientious and attentive staff, great prices, clean bathrooms. We just visited for the first time and had the hummus, lamb and falafel which was all delicious. The complimentary hummus and bread was a really nice bonus. Love Sahara on Main and look forward to going back.
