We went to Thomas Cafe on a recommendation from a local. She was right it was a good choice. We had the pimento cheese BLT and gumbo. My husband like the gumbo and the sandwich was amazing. Friday is their fried flounder special and it looked delicious so we will be returning to try that another Friday
Key lime pie topped off a very yummy lunch

Thank tgerberm

We have visited this town many times in our past boating travels. We were on our way north and we ducked in here for breakfast. They didn't disappoint us.

I couldn't fault this place. I went for breakfast, lunch, cake time. It was glorious. 10/10 would definitely go back.

What a great breakfast experience. The coffee is very good and the food is even better. The servers are friendly. The seating area is a little bit tight and the place always seem crowded. The menu goes beyond bacon and eggs. There are always eclectic items on the menu.

If you find yourself on Front Street in Georgetown, SC around lunch time venture down towards the Town Clock and stop in at Thomas Cafe. It is a landmark in town and has served every level of society. The have a daily special on the CHALK board consisting of a meat and three with drink. They also have a printed menu if you choose that route and their burgers are hand patties as a side note. I was there this past Friday and they had fresh flounder off the dock or pot roast over rice. I chose the latter and the meat just fell apart it was so tender. They have numerous selections to choose your three sides from. The service is great and you won't leave disappointed; homemade desserts also. Closed on Sunday. Give them a try. Thanks
