We did not know what to expect from “new southern cuisine “, but we had a great time for our pre-show date. Food was delicious, and while drinks would not qualify as 5 stars, they were nice and refreshing. Michael, our server, was very enthusiastic, polite, and didn’t “crowd” us as the restaurant began overflowing with patrons. It was a most wonderful experience. Thank you.

The food was excellent and the service beyond expectations. Our server, Sup, was terrific and gave us some great suggestions, like getting half orders of two entrees.

Bad start when waiter grabbed away the voluminous wine book (not list) I was perusing after I told him we weren't ordering wine. A very slow kitchen (45 minutes for our entre to arrive). Trout was very good, as were the baby back ribs. Very crowded and noisy inside; outdoor seating comfortable.

Had the Fried Green Tomatoes and She Crab Soup, both very good. For entree had Braised Beef Short Rib, delicious. For dessert, had the White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie - I normally prefer chocolate desserts but this one was highly recommended. It was good, and the two of us finished it all, but not sure I'd get again (but if you love banana pie and short bread, and looking to try a different dessert, I'd say it's worth a shot).

Not a wine drinker, but they have a cellar and their selection is huge.
