We visited here looking for a new sushi place. We were very please with quick service and reasonable prices. And yes, the Browne desert at the end just added the final beautiful touch.

We went there for lunch with locals who have eaten there before. We began the meal with edamame and spring roll appetizers. These were good. Everyone else at the table ordered sushi, and all were pleased. I was in the mood for a Thai curry, so I ordered that. I'm not sure what it was, but it wasn't Tai Curry. It was a generous portion, but not very good.

Not sure what type of Sushi any of the previous reviewers are use to but this was very sad. The host, a young woman, greeted us with absolutely no smiles and seemed she did not want to be there. We sat at the sushi bar hoping for a Sushi bar experience. First, the owners are not Japanese. The bar was very unconformable and not clean and no way to see the actual, assumed fresh fish, you'd be choosing. The Sushi guy, wouldn't call him a Sushi Chef, no Chefs coat, rather a polo shirt and a iPhone ear bud in his ear, was nice enough but very non-traditional. The Maguro (Tuna) was second grade at best. Flavorless and an almost bright pink. The Uni (Sea Urchin) was suppose to be fresh. It had a slimy coating to it that indicated it's getting old. The Yellowtail was very dark and slimy as well. This was Sushi done by amateurs, nice guys all be it, but I wouldn't recommended it at all. T'seven more evidence of the dying world of authentic Sushi done by Japanese Sushi Chefs with integrity. This was simply a restaurant serving made up Sushi, Thai food, Chinese food etc. Lastly, 3 people, one being a teenager 2 Sake minimal Sushi, over $100.00

Best sushi I've ever had anywhere. Period. This place is one reason we vacation in Charleston. Every combo we got was fresh and fabulous. The kids ordered traditional American Chinese food and it was so good, we didn't know whether to eat our sushi or the Chinese! In two weeks, we usually eat here a minimum of three times. It is located in the back of the shopping center so you have to look for it the first time, but you'll never forget where it is after visiting once.

While the food choices of Charleston are excellent...great sushi is hard to come by. With that fact known, we took an Uber over to Mount Pleasant and found our hidden gem of sushi restaurants. This restaurant is quaint, very clean and provides excellent sushi. The staff was polite and efficient...while the sushi chef was very quick and provided some spectacular special rolls that were well-priced. I highly recommend the trip over to test the best sushi that the Charleston area has to offer.
