Always on the look-out for "real" Italian food, and Vicini's was a wonderful find! Smelled like authentic Italian when we entered -- a good sign :-) The four of us ordered spinach ravioli, baked ziti, lasagna, and veal parmigiana. Bread was nice & fresh (baked daily) served with olive oil & spices to dip. Generous house salad and Caesar salad. Good-size portions for lunch: I took home half of my baked ziti, there were 6-7 spinach ravioli, and even the veal cutlet was large. Finished off our meal with decaf cappucinos and cannoli pastries, which were excellent. Erica our server was very attentive to us.
This is a nice, quiet place in a strip-mall with Italian music in the background. Being half Italian and originally from NJ, I miss really good Italian food -- since now we live in the Shenandoah Valley in VA. I was impressed after reading the owner's history about living in Italy and NYC. Vicini's is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner with a great selection of wines. You will not be disappointed with the food, atmosphere or service. Mangia!!!
