Quick easy check in. We arrived a day early and were placed in a temporary site for the night then relocated and stayed 6 nites in site 100, good sized for a 24’ motorhome. Was fun walking our dog on the beach every morning, everyone was friendly. No dogs allowed on pier (understandable). There was no events on the pier while we stayed but you can walk on it and watch people fish or rent fishing gear on site. We ate lunch at the Croakers pier restaurant once but did not return because the food and margaritas were not good. We walked over to Flip Flops and enjoyed very good margaritas at the outside dinning tables, they allows pets. You can also walk over to Finn McCools Irish pub from the campground. We had an enjoyable stay at Apache and are already talking about a return trip. We read about complaints before we booked our trip, mostly about kids in golf carts running around constantly, yes we seen a lot of that but things got quiet after 11pm and it did not bother us. We met very nice people and are going to contact them before our next trip. Looking forward to it

This campground is right near the beach. We could watch the ocean from our motorhome. They are friendly and helpful. The beach is a 2 minutes walk from our site. And they allow motorcycles. We found out there a fre e campgrounds here in myrtle beach that want you to park your motorcycle in a parking lot and not drive to your campsite. That is not an option for us. I saw reviews complaining about the size of the sites. We had a pull through site and had plenty of room. No fire pit but we didn't miss it. Not with the beach so close. We will definitely be back.

This is a very large, clean campground right on the beach. Sites are level and wide, full hookups, covered picnic tables at each site, walking distance to the pier. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We only spent one night on our way south, but would gladly stay longer another time. Gorgeous pool, wading pool for kids, clean beaches.

Open your shades and watch the waves wash the sands in South Carolina's Myrtle Beach.

Spent one week here and rebooked for 2018.

Clean beach, nice pool and the longest fishing pier around.

A walk to beach and a drive to the finest local restaurants offering great SC cuisines.

Friendly campground, lots to do if child or adult.

Consider this campground when in the Myrtle Beach area.

This campground is right on the beach. The spots are a little tight but we parked a 30 foot class A and our Jeep Wrangler next to it the entire time. It can get a bit loud at times but most people finally settle down by midnight. The grounds are not very well kept up, there were bandaids and small bits of trash all over the sites. They did mow as soon as a RV left but actually picking small bits of trash up I didn't see that happen the whole two weeks we were there. The wonderful thing about this place is the proxcimity to the ocean. We were 4 RV's down from actually being able to walk on the beach. Apache campground also has it's own pier and that was a nice place to fish from. If you are going to camp in this area and want to be close to the beach this is a good place to stay. The beach is not too crowded during the week even in peak summer time. It is also close to several of the shows and Pirate show. It's a few miles drive to get to the main broad walk part of the beach. All in all it was a decent place to stay. We live in Arizona, recent transplants from Colorado, so we are not experts on beaches but it worked for us.

Room Tip: Ask for a site as close to the ocean as possible.
