We came here for dinner while camping at table rock. It was sunday of labor day weekend, we had just missed the sunday buffet which ends at 4. The restaurant closes for a half hour then reopens at 4:30. Great homemade food. The catfish was superb and I wish I could make mashed potatoes and gravy like they do. Cheeseburger, BLT, homemade chips, and fried green tomatoes were also perfect. Will come again when in the area.

We were referred to this restaurant by the folks at Table Rock Resort. It was very close to the location. If you want everything fried, this is the place for you!
For those of us who avoid fried, the only choices I found were a tasteless grilled chicken sandwich. It was a disappointing way to begin a week away from home!!
Staff was extremely pleasant!!!

The place is very cute. The staff was very friendly. the portions were plentiful and the prices very reasonable. Food tasted pretty good. Do try the homemade chips and the fried okra. But do not expect fast service. we waited a long time for our food to arrive. So long that we began to get worried about our diabetic daughter. Apparently there is a sign by the cashier/hostess area, that be prepared to wait for their god food, maybe up to 20 minutes. I am sure we waited longer. But it was good. Just don't come starved. It is the only place to eat on SC11 so we will probably be back.

I've been there for lunch, brunch, and Friday night fish fry. If you love traditional Southern fried foods, such as catfish, chicken, okra and green tomatoes, this is your place! The people are very nice, and the food delicious. There are also yummy vegetables to be had and fresh, home made, desserts. Don't be in a rush, it's not fast food, and you may have to wait a little while for a table, but while you wait you can walk around the shops, sit in a rocking chair, or play checkers. The Bluegrass music on Friday night adds to the fun. Great place to bring the kids.

What a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Our service was courteous and prompt. The food was prepared wonderfully and more then ample amount. We did not go away hungry! We walk thru the other shops about her place, enjoyed the mountain view and setting in rockers on the front porch and visiting with other travelers and locals.
