Rooms are nice sized and if you are on 1st floor might have outside and inside door which is great. Bed was very comfortable. Closed caption was always on tv, and with only an easy remote, was no way to turn it off, so that was a little bit annoying. Resort is non-smoking, but yet our room smell slightly of smoke when we got there. Could possible be from people walking outside of the room to smoke and leaving the door open. Our room was on the end and the ash can was just around the corner, so could here people talking all night as they went outside to smoke. Other than that very nice place to stay and fresh cooked breakfast is include at the resort restaurant.

Deadwood Gulch friendly, comfortable, accommodating, clean and 2nd floor creek side quiet. Enjoyed the outdoor patio area and music was good. Gaming was good too! I was lucky enough to win enough to pay for my motel stay. Lots to see and do within 70 miles of the Gulch!

We were going to be in town for Kool Deadwood Nites. Every other hotel in town was running $400-$500 a night! I came across this place at a reasonable $191 and booked it. I'm glad I did! Our room was creekside, and the deck is fantastic. And the complementary breakfast was great. The only negative I can think of was there were no lids or stirrers for the in room coffee, but that's pretty minor. Planning to come back again and again!

Clean, large room, with special amenities (bed blanket and treats) for my dog. Staff was very friendly and courteous. They also are on the downtown trolley loop, which made staying outside of downtown Deadwood super easy.

Horrible. The reception area was more like a ward and it was downhill from there. We are seniors and were put in a second floor room with no elevator access. No fresh coffee in the morning and breakfast never appeared. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.
