Pirates Cove is simply a great time. The 18 holes are challenging enough that even the best golfer might cry 'Mulligan!' a time or two. The location is off a busy street but the course and it's landscaping/scenery makes you forget/overlook the sounds of the street. It's a Pirate theme (obviously) with good sound effects, cannon ball sounds and "splashes" from the lagoon. There's a very nice waterfall feature from a man-made "mountain" which the course is built on/around. Good value for the money.

We have been to several Pirate's Coves around the USA and I think this is the tidiest and most well maintained one we have visited. The "grass" at each hole looked as if it had been vacuumed. The plants and trees were pretty and well cared for. There was a groundsman pruning and dead-heading flowers as we played.

There is only a choice of one course of 18 holes, rather than 2 at the other Pirate's Coves we have visited. We chose to play in the morning, as when we had driven past in the late afternoon/early evening it always seemed busy.

Good fun for all the family!

We live near Pirate's Cove and go several times in the summer. On this last trip it was myself and my 11 year old son. Our total cost was around $16. The atmosphere is themed around pirates (of course) which include a cannon that "shoots" and splashes a cannon ball into the water, a large shark hanging over the water, a pirate in the water from a sunken ship, tombstones with epitaphs, waterfalls, caves, skeletons and beautiful flowers everywhere. The course if fun with a good variety of greens. One negative would be the amount of stairs but a positive is that there are shady areas along the course so that you aren't always in the sun. My family has never had a bad visit to Pirate's Cove. It is probably the cleanest and best cared for miniature golf courses that you will ever play on.
