Four of us have been here for three nights and are leaving tomorrow. When I told our Greek-American friend who arranged this two week island hopping vacation that I was going to write a review of Hotel Brazzera, she ordered me not to write it unless it would be a "5" star. She was annoyed at me for being a tough reviewer of restaurants and other hotels in our trip. I told her not to worry--this place deserves the highest possible score. Unlike everywhere else its rooms have great lighting for reading. The beds are firm but very comfortable. The air conditioning is of the highest quality. Each room has a balcony with many of them facing the beach which is less than 100 feet away. Breakfast buffet includes omelets, eight homemade fruit jams, homemade baked breakfast sweet breads and the usual assortment of granola, Greek yogurt, cheeses, etc. The swimming beach outside the front of the hotel is the best around. It is sandy and because it has a shallow entrance, it is very safe for kids. As serious swimmers who swim an hour or more at a time, this beach provides a secure swimming area free of boats. Several good restaurants are within short walking distance.
