I checked the website the morning of our visit for the hours of operation and we arrived about 30 minutes after the posted opening. The museum was closed and there was no sign indicating when and if it was actually opening again. Luckily it wasn't too far out of our way. If you plan to visit CALL FIRST! If no answer then assume it's closed.

If you love fantasy you are sure to live this amazing collection! Well worth the trip. The only thing is that it is warm in the exhibit.

We enjoyed the gift shop. It was towards the end our day and my 4 yr old niece had about enough for the day. But still the 2 folks running the store was kind enough to talk to us about the musem and about the products in the store.

My husband loves, loves, loves anything having to do with dragons. We had a buy one get one free, so we only paid $10 for the museum. They had a ton of trinkets to buy, a little overpriced, but some good stuff. The museum was really cool, bigger than it seemed on the outside. They had every type of dragon you could want, we definitely were not disapointed.

This place has the most unique and extensive collection of dragons and fairies and fantasy lore! I love this place and have visited it every year for over 5 years now. A must see!
