This was a great learning experience. Something every parent should take their children to see. It was a step back in our history. How encouraging it was to hear that Alex Haley parents were educated black people and that his grandfather was a business owner. I could feel the life and love in this home. I was sorry to hear that the people who financially benefited from Mr Haley novel have contributed very little to keep this museum going on for our children.
