I live in London and eat regularly in top restaurants around the city. Tarragon is my restaurant of choice when I return to North County Dublin. By far the best restaurant in Skerries. Good menu, great food especially the seafood, nice atmosphere, attentive service. Black sole and chocolate fondant to follow if a particularly good combo. Would encourage everyone to visit.

we have dined at tarragon a number of times over the last couple of years and have found the food consistently excellent. Their dressed crab is delicious and their black angus steaks are the best i,ve ever had anywhere ever !
also lately the early bird menu and especially the sunday lunch special menu offer incredible value for money.
Tarragon may not have a harbour view but it more than makes up for it with the quality of its food

Most people pay high prices for what is ultimately an amazing view. This restaurant is all about the food reasonable cost and wonderful service. During a recent visit to the delightful fishing village we were fortunate to stumble across this gem. We were intrigued by the special board and were certainly not disappointed. The seafood was fresh, tasty and bountiful. House wine was quite pleasant and our mains were to die for. We enjoyed it that much and value for money we went twice. If you want to see the harbour at dusk go for a walk afterwards. Try it out I dare you.
