I travel 3-4 nights per week constantly on business. Some big, some small, some po-dunk towns. My expectations of a decent place to lay the head overnight in Lawrenceburg, TN was below doubtful but man, this place is premier! Relatively new, very well managed and maintained, meticulous in terms of housekeeping and cleanliness, wonderfully friendly staff (average age desk staff is about 60 so no lack of work ethics), and great bed and pillows. Initially I thought about staying in Pulaski, TN but with the client right here, this worked out way better than expected. TRY THIS PLACE!! And...it was like $58.00/night for king! All non-smoking also was a plus.

Dinner was also fantastic (blackened prime rib and steaks) at the Brass Lantern operated by Legends Steakhouse

Enjoy some unexpected joy in Lawrenceburg, TN - I did!!

Bill

I trust the opinions I research in Trip Advisor. I did my homework on Richland Inn and couldn't wait to verify what other TA readers had said. It was all true. Richland Inn is one of the cleanest properties on the planet! To be exact, their parking lot is cleaner than the rooms of many high priced hotels. Plan a trip to Lawrenceburg and stay at the Richland Inn. The rooms are clean, neat and well taken care of. While the rooms are small, the hospitality and the quality of service more than make up for the size. We've all paid a lot more for less. I travel frequently and always complain about smokers (often hospitality staff) hanging out by the front door. This doesn't happen at Richland. I am very impressed. Why can't they all be like this?

Room Tip: Rooms in the rear unit are further from the road.

2 friends and I stayed here while visiting friends in town. Nice hotel but it is a 2-story with no elevator. Room was good except beds were only full-size, not queen. A/C was good considering it was quite hot. All rooms were booked for weekend because of Blue Grass Festival in Summertown. Sonic across the street and some nice shops in town. Didn't go to free breakfast but did have coffee. No pool here. Looked like the nicest place in town though. Be sure to visit Pat's Cafe if you make it to Lawrenceburg. Also, Brass Lantern had wonderful fried green tomatoes.

Room Tip: Ask for bottom floor

When one makes a reservation at a small town motel, one often does it with great reservation (pun intended). But with this Inn is a very nice place to stay.
Upon arrival the front desk staff was very friendly and handled my check in quickly and with out fuss.
The room had a King size bed. The bed took up much of the room but still I did not have the feeling of being cramped.
Internet was free and easy to connect with.
It was within easy driving of several eating places. In fact walking across the street would have gotten you to a Shoney's Restaurant.
Many small town motels save money by using cheap mattresses which are hard and uncomfortable. Not so the Richland. Here the mattress was comfortable. Not quiet on par with say the Raddason or HI Express but very close.
The breakfast was perhaps the weak link. There was a choice of a few cereals, milk, juice, bagel, muffin, waffles and of course coffee.
But perhaps most important, the motel was very clean.
I would recommend this motel to anyone who needs to stay overnight in Lawrenceburg, TN

Close to Walmart and restaurants...on the north side of town if you're interested in the Amish community. Very helpful, friendly staff here as well. Very clean rooms as well.

Stay here often on business. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Always make it a point to stay here after trying other hotels in the area. This on can't be beat for cleanliness, friendlyness and price.
