This state park has camping facilities for all types of campers from RV's to tents to cabins. There is a huge swimming pool, several nice hiking trails, Frisbee golf, playgrounds and horseback riding. The park is just 10 minutes off I-40 at Lebanon. Lots of restaurants and things to do in Lebanon including an outlet mall. If you are an RVer and you want satellite access, pick campsite 8 or 9. They have 50 amp service and water plus a clear view of the southern sky. There are no sewer sites, but a dump station is at the entrance to the campground. I recommend registering on line and remember check-in isn't till 4 pm. I didn't see anyone at the office till almost 4. There is easy access for rigs of all sizes.

Great park, excellent hiking and picnic areas. Also, has a pool and ball fields. We stayed away from those because of crowds. But, the highlight was the eclipse. Great day at the park for an awesome event.

Speed bumps that will throw your car out of alignment even if you go over them at 0.5 mph, unidentified nasty smell at our campsite, dogs are allowed - which meant that you have to put up with barking for hours while the owners are off somewhere else... old facilities in the shower/bathhouse

We stopped here for a quick picnic on our way through the area as it was not far from I-40. It was peaceful and quiet; we were the only ones in the picnic area. We tried to get our TN State Park book stamped but the office didn't have it. It had been taken to the pool to stamp visitor's hands.

Visited here for two nights while passing through the State.

What we liked:

1. It almost felt like a national park. Tall leafy trees, rolling hills, log structures.
2. Quite and peaceful.
3. Well priced.
4. No one bothers you. In RV parks there are signs everywhere: Don't do this, don't do that. At Cedars of Lebanon it's not like that at all.
5. Clean laundry room; it even has a deep sink for washing hand items.
6. No streetlights to shine through your RV bedroom window all night.
7. Level lots, especially campground 1.
8. Campground 3 is older and dedicated to just tents; these campers have the largest, most secluded camp spots I've seen in years. 20 AMP only.
9. You can safely ride your bike around.

What we didn't like:

1. We had no sewer at our spot in campground 1. But because we were there just 2 days, it wasn't a big problem. There is also a dumping station conveniently located on the way out of the park.

Would we return? Oh absolutely.

Room Tip: Consult online park map when you book; it's easy to choose a camp site where there's no one on either side of you.
