Great B&B located within a 12min walk of the quaint village of Spiddal & its several traditional pubs. The hosts, Siobhan & Eamon, are very friendly and provide good advice regarding the many nearby tours & eating establishments. Breakfasts are a real treat & each day we were provided with freshly baked treats for afternoon tea. Rooms are well appointed a very clean. The B&B is ideally located to explore the beautifully rugged Conamara region with its varied landscapes or the interesting latin quarter of Galway only 15km away. A washing and drying service is provided for a small charge. The only minor concern was squeaky floors which could interrupt your sleep if you have room above you.

Room Tip: Aim for a room with no one above you.

Just spent 3 nights there and agree with the reviews below, fabulous place and really nice friendly and funny hosts. Great breakfast menu(yes many diverse items not just the traditional Irish breakfast) and by ordering the night before it is always perfect and efficient. Highly recommend!

We had a quiet, spacious family room here, with comfortable beds. Did not meet Eamonn, but Siobhan was full of friendliness and stories, and kindly recommended restaurants, and helped us find a second night nearby, as her B and B was full. The house has an interesting history. Siobhan runs things efficiently, as guests order breakfast the night before. She was very busy, but really tried to talk with each of her guests. From the front gardens, across the road, you can see Galway Bay and the mountains of The Burren. Spiddal is only about 15-20 minutes from Galway, and it's a much more quiet place, which we appreciated!

My family recently spent a week in Ireland with our first stop being Tuar Beag in Spiddal. What a wonderful way to start our week! Siobhan was very helpful in what we should see in the Conemara area. She took time from her busy day to plot out a path for us to follow on the map. Her home is a perfect blend of old and new. We booked three rooms for our family, and they were all roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of yummy choices. The location is great, just a small drive west from Galway and just a mile walk into the little town of Spiddal for food and pub visits! We would highly recommend that you book with Eamonn and Siobhan.

This B&B was wonderful! Had a great time chatting with Eamonn, and Siobhan was kind enough to store my cheeses in their fridge for our picnic the next day. Comfy room and beds. You get to order your food the night before so it gets made just how you like it in the morning! Wish we spent more time there, the house and landscaping were so beautiful. As it was, we were supposed to stay there only one night, but made it a two night stay! Very convenient to Galway and the ferry to the Aran Islands.

We stayed recently to attend a funeral, and Tuar Beag were great at accommodating our crew. My daughter enjoyed her french toast at breakfast, and the menu choice that was offered by ticking the box and leaving it on the front desk was great - definite come back to place!
